Dozens of printable puzzles have been added to the website PrintPuzzles.net, and there are now nearly 700 Nonogram and Sudoku puzzles to choose from at a range of skill levels.
"These printable puzzles are both fun and challenging," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Puzzle fans can download and print them one at a time for free, or pay a little to download a 'puzzle book' collection."
Nonogram and Sudoku puzzles challenge the brain, especially at the higher difficulty levels, so PrintablePuzzles.net includes a handy puzzle-solving guide for each style, and solutions are included as the second page of the download.
To solve a Sudoku puzzle, a player adds numbers to fill a grid so that each 3-by-3 block or "region" of the multi-celled puzzle contains the digits 1 through 9. At PrintPuzzles.net, the Sudoku puzzles have several numbers prefilled for beginners but only a few in the harder puzzles.
Nonograms are logic puzzles with more complicated rules. Players use basic math skills to gray out specific squares on a grid until a pattern is revealed.
Visitors to PrintablePuzzles.net can print puzzles one at a time. There's also the convenient option to buy entire downloadable puzzle "books" that contain even more puzzles. The $9.99 digital puzzle books are sorted by difficulty or with a variety of skill levels in one collection. There are hundreds of puzzles in each book to print or simply store digitally and print as-desired.
"Whether you're a beginner or expert puzzle solver, you'll find something that suits you among these Sudoku and Nonogram puzzles," Savetz said.
There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
