A new website offers printable protest signs to aid in the fight to protect the rights of vulnerable humans and the environment. Everything at PrintableProtestSigns.com is free to instantly download and print.
"I wish the world didn't need signs like these, but the truth is that in the United States there is an extreme threat to the rights and safety of immigrants, non-cisgender individuals, people of color and others," said Kevin Savetz, who has been offering printables sites online since 2005. "PrintableProtestSigns.com lets anyone instantly download and print signs and make their voices heard on issues ranging from women's health to gun control."
The signs are illustrated with distinctive type and/or graphics and are available in PDF or DOC format, both free. The signs can be printed on cardstock for added durability, or even laminated. They're letter-size and can be attached to posts for protest marches or placed in yards or on walls and doors.
Messages displayed on the signs include: "Climate Change is Real," "Families Belong Together," "Believe Survivors," and dozens more.
There's a rainbow-hued "Diversity" sign and a "Love is Love" poster along with other LGBTQ community rights placards.
An illustrated "Build Bridges Not Walls" sign is ideal for protesting separation of immigrant families at the border.
Other attention-getting signs urge: "Gun Control Now," "Keep Your Laws Off My Body," "If You're Not Angry You're Not Paying Attention," and in a very topical reference from the Broadway musical Hamilton, "History Has Its Eyes on You."
PrintableProtestSigns.com also has Black Lives Matter signs, feminism signs and signs advocating for workers' rights.
