Interior designer Barry Dixon spoke with local designers and community members at a panel discussion ahead of the 93rd Georgetown House Tour, which took place April 18. Dixon’s discussion on the evening of Thursday, April 16, was a ticketed event at Ateliers Jacob, a bespoke kitchen design and manufacturing company. The company has a storefront at 3330 Cady’s Alley NW.
“It was a casual but beautiful evening,” said Amy Taibl, general manager for Ateliers Jacob.
There were people standing and sitting, taking in Dixon’s talk about his inspiration and details for each project he chatted about. There was networking both before and after the presentation, with cocktails and bites. Taibl called the event an “elegant evening.”
Dixon, who is based in Warrenton, Virginia, is the founder and president of Barry Dixon, Inc., formed in 1995. He specializes in high-end and commercial interiors.
