Warren Buffet is an excellent investor, in part because he’s a good judge of character. To what does he attribute his success? “A simple powerful choice: investing in yourself”.

As Marc Schwantes notes in A Good Morning America interview, Buffett said “Investing in yourself is the best thing you can do. Anything that improves your own talents”.  

Here are ways of doing so include:

• Invest in Continuous Learning – to make more informed decisions, spot new opportunities, and adapt to a changing business landscape
• Invest in your self-improvement which includes personal growth, self confidence and resilience
• Invest in knowing your strengths by becoming aware of what you should do and what  you should delegate
• Invest in a supportive network to surround yourself with like-minded peers, colleagues and experienced mentors.
• Invest in doing work that you love. “I think you are out of your mind if you keep taking jobs that you don’t like because you think it will look good on your resume.”
