Being on the spiritual path, I have come to a new understanding about life. I realized that my ego has been the enemy preventing my perceptions from seeing the truth. The ego has been offering messages that block my vision beyond fear.
I saw a movie called, "A Beautiful Mind" in 2001. It is an American biographical drama film based on the life of John Nash, a Nobel Laureate in Economics. He was diagnosed with mental illness. At the end of the film, his life seemed normal. When asked what happened, he replied, "I gave up listening to the voices in my head." It was also time for me to change my voices to praise myself for actions and undertakings that were productive, helpful, and give to others. As I found my own self-esteem and became worthy, I was able to see my contributions and activities as genuine successes. I had stopped my own successful feelings.
My new vision is a wonderful place of joy. Some people call this being reborn. "To be born again is to let the past go, and look without condemnation upon the present". This is a quote from The Course in Miracles. I am born again into a completely loving spirit that fills my inner life. I enjoy the presence as a love giver instead of a love seeker. No longer afraid, I become a channel of love and peace.
I found that when I move out of fear and tribulations from my past emotional life into the moment, I experience the presence of God's grace. This is called the fifth dimension. Healing my wounded soul through love returns my being, a whole spirit. We are all one in spirit, a beneficial energy often referred to as the Creative Forces by Edgar Cayce, The Father of Holistic Health. It fills and surrounds all of us. All there is, is love.
No longer, do the past harms, fears, or future worries direct life; freedom from the ego's messages of old emotional baggage has left. Opinions, judgments, or beliefs seem to disappear. A new freedom without egocentric, selfish, and self-centered motives are not a concern. Happiness fills the void left by undoing the ego's power of negative inner messages. Self-esteem is restored and successfully emotional security returns. Love is left when releasing everything unloving.
Inward feelings become fulfillment and contentment. A sense of prosperity, abundance, and safety that all is well flows in. Having enough, being satisfied, and feeling rich in spirit flowers. Loving emotions of stillness and serenity replace inner emptiness. Because there is no longer a feeling of neediness, a new vision develops into where can I be helpful. A smile appears as I enjoy a newfound sensation of peace.
New glasses show that the other person is not separate or culpable, but one with me in spirit. This quantum leap moves vision beyond the old paradigm of linear time. Releasing the emotional connections of resentment, guilt, or revenge allows the realization, that the brain/ego created false impressions; they were not real. This person agreed to help me with my lessons. Thanking them rather than separating from them as if they are a bad person, brings unity of spirit.
Quantum physics is about unity, so is the fifth dimension and beyond. Growing beyond my old consciousness of separation, my old reactions are not my first response, anymore. It is now possible to respond with how can I lend a hand.
Society, medicine, and religions train people to look without for answers instead of seeing your inner reality. Rarely do you find someone who is yearning for immortality who shuts his or her eyes to what is without and beholds the inner Self. Yet, when the outer distractions and beliefs leave, knowing arrives and success is found. Experiencing the spirit of love becomes evident.
Love is the highest power in creation and underlying harmony of the Universe. It is the supreme law whereby you throw off the bonds of being apart and perceive the great spiritual unity in which we have our fundamental essence. My new revelation moves into contentment from releasing wants and desires of the ego. Awareness and understanding that I am born in the image of love; I return to the source of my being and happiness.
As a conduit of love, I move into the highest vibrations labeled Creative Forces, love, or light. Serving in love brings prosperity, abundance, and well-being; this is real success.
Living this way of life is described as the fruits of the spirit. They are mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23 of the Bible. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." It is possible to extend effectively the fruits of the spirit. The guide for my new understanding is the St. Francis of Assisi Prayer.
Lord, make me a channel of thy peace—that where there is hatred, I may bring love—that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness—that where there is discord, I may bring harmony—that where there is error, I may bring truth—that where there is doubt, I may bring faith—that where there is despair, I may bring hope—that where there are shadows, I may bring light—that where there is sadness, I may bring joy. Lord, grant that I many seek rather to comfort than to be comforted—to understand, than to be understood—to love, than to be loved. For it is by self-forgetting, that one finds. It is by forgiving that one is forgiven. I t is by dying that one awakens to Eternal Life. Amen.
