Hallmark's' 'ANashville Legacy' Makes A Smash Debut At The 2023 Pan African Film Festival!
Hallmark’snewly added Mahogany Films division debuted their film “A NashvilleLegacy” to a thunderously, enthusiastic SRO screening and premiere at thisyear’s 2023 Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles. The film which iscurrently airing on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel, stars AndreaLewis who plays Naima, a grad student who came to Nashville to complete herdoctorate in ethnomusicology while interning at a prestigious museum. At themuseum she meets record producer Damian, played by Pooch Hall, whovolunteers as a guide.
A Nashville Legacy
A romanceblossoms and at the same time Naima discovers the beginnings of a mystery thatinvolved her late grandmother who was a member of a 60’s girl group inNashville. Something shady went down andthe situation included Damian’s dad who is the owner of a powerful, Blackrecord label. Rumors etc., for years have threatened to destroy the recordlabel’s standing and reputation in the community and the music industry. ShouldNaima press forward for answers and risk her relationship with Damian and majortrouble with his powerful family or should she back off?
