Meet Chrumaine.

When she was younger, she kind of looked like Princess Diana, didn’t she? She was one of those gorgeously slender girls we admire– even envy!

You know the type.

She’s fashionably together, never exercises, eats anything she wants, and is always on the go with a latte in hand.

She is the one who makes you wonder: How is it she never gains a pound?

You might think that slim people have a genetic gift that you weren’t blessed with.

But we have news for you.

Our coaches will tell you exactly how you can defy your “fat genes” to get rid of belly fat and other fat trapped in your trouble areas.

We can learn exactly how to do that from Chrumaine’s journey…

Skinny On the Outside, Obese On the Inside

FullSizeRender (3)

It’s not like she is terribly overweight at 5’3? and 157 pounds.

Chrumaine is a lovely lady, busy school teacher, and totally devoted to her family.

What happened to her younger, slimmer physique?

In the photo to the left, you can see that she still has shapely legs, but her big red tent-shirt is hiding the fat on her belly.

Because she was slim, you, me, and even the doctor assumed that Chrumaine was healthy. We all thought that her good genes would keep her slim for the rest of her life.

But she was actually “skinny-fat.”

Skinny-fat means that a person looks thin on the outside, but they are fat on the inside. In her youth, Chrumaine was wearing a size 2 on the outside, but on the inside she was functioning more like an obese size 22.

It’s What You Can’t See That is So Deadly

Visceral fat

These images show what belly fat looks like in seven men with the exact same waist girth. The “very marbled steak” in the lower right hand corner is packed so full of killer visceral fat that you can’t even see the organs.

Your body is programmed to store fat under the skin. That’s the safest place for it, away from your organs.

But you can totally mess that programming up.

When you do, your body has no choice but to quickly grab up extra fat and tuck it away between your organs.

The bulk of the fat under Chrumaine’s big red shirt is not the kind you can pinch.

It’s deeper than that, wrapped around her intestines, liver, pancreas, and even her heart. This is called “visceral fat,” and it is harmful to you. Visceral fat sends chemical signals directly to your organs, increasing the risk of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.

Visceral fat is the reason that at just 27 years old, Chrumaine had developed type two diabetes. Over the years, she resigned herself to living with the disease, the extra belly fat, and an increasingly negative self-image.

The New Face of Type 2 Diabetes: Young, Skinny-Fat Women

We tend to think of diabetics as overweight and older, but remember that a skinny fat person’s body is behaving as though it is obese. Chrumaine was one of those young women, having been diagnosed at age 27.

You can develop diabetes even before you notice the weight gain around your belly.

It is vitally important to prevent it before it happens. Pre-diabetes is reversible, type two diabetes is not curable.

After just two weeks of Personal Trainer Food, Chrumaine’s blood sugar levels were in the normal range– for the first time in 20 years!

How Belly Fat Makes You Fatter

Personal Trainer Food helped Chrumaine go from a size 12 to a healthy size 6. She loves her new waistline!

A large belly is a sure sign that your body is geared to store fat rather than burn it.

Any time you eat the wrong things, you will quickly store even more fat on your belly along with all your other trouble areas. That fat won’t budge, no matter how much you restrict your calories or try to exercise it off.

It’s a frustrating situation.

But you can do something about it!

The key is to stop storing fat on your belly. When you do that, you will re-program your body at a cellular level.

Our Weight Loss Coaches have some advice to help you get rid of unwanted fat on the belly– and the rest of your body too.

Just Say NO to these “Healthy” Foods

niki_bobble

When I reviewed what Chrumaine was eating before Personal Trainer Food, the problem was clear. It wasn’t like she was eating a ton of calories, she was always on the go and skipping meals. What she did eat contained too many simple starches and sugars.

(This is a mistake many women make.)

She thought she was eating healthy because many of the foods she was reaching for have been heavily marketed to women as “healthy.” Her go-to snack was popcorn.

For a flatter belly, avoid foods like popcorn, yogurt, granola, juice drinks, vitamin drinks, energy bars, diet shakes, and even low-fat salad dressing– or anything with a low-fat label. These are just junk food in disguise.

REV is our best plan to help women lose belly fat– fast.

What Does Muscle Have to Do With Belly Fat?

amanda

When Chrumaine first started her program, she could barely walk one mile! As a skinny-fat person, she hadn’t really exercised throughout her life, and was weak because she had very little muscle.

If you don’t have a lot of muscle and you eat too many sugars and starches, there is no place for the glucose to go except to be converted directly to belly fat.

A daily walk will build muscle –and when you are resting, has an “after-burn” effect that signals your muscles to suck up blood sugar at 20 times the normal rate. This keeps fat off your belly.

Now Chrumaine can easily walk several miles a day. The muscle she built keeps her blood sugar levels normal and belly fat at bay.

Ditch These Diets; They Just Pile Fat in All the Wrong Places

shane_allen

In an attempt to get skinny, many women (and men) unwittingly set themselves up for belly fat by yo-yo dieting.

Each time you lose weight with another ineffective diet you lose muscle. When you gain the weight back, it all comes back as fat. Now that you have less muscle mass, your body is more apt to deposit that fat right on your belly. It’s a double whammy to your health.

Low-fat, calorie-restricted, and cardboard food diets are the worst at piling on fat. Strict diets based on poor quality foods might initially cause you to lose fat, but they prime your system to lock fat in your trouble areas where you desperately want to lose.

Ditch those diets and just focus on eating meats, eggs, vegetables, nuts, and cheese. These real protein sources help you keep valuable muscle mass and the whole foods will fuel your body right so you can lose weight from all the right places.

How to Trick Your Hormones to Reduce Belly Fat

jan

In today’s world, most of us are living with a lot stress. Stress causes your body to release cortisol, a hormone that promotes fat storage in the cells of your belly.

A diet that is high in starches and sugars only compounds the situation. Too many simple sugars and starches further stress your body out.

Furthermore, we have all been led to believe that if you workout for an hour that you will lose fat. Quite the opposite is true; workout sessions longer than 20 minutes start to trigger the release of cortisol.

You might not be able to do much about your stressful lifestyle. But, you can stop storing extra fat on your tummy immediately by dropping your cortisol levels. Do this by removing excess sugars, starches, and stressful exercise sessions. Personal Trainer Food is the perfect answer to reducing stressful things in your life.

Why Diabetes is Worse for Women

Women should be very concerned about a healthy waistline and diabetes prevention. Diabetes is particularly deadly for them.

From 1971 to 2000 the death rate for men with diabetes has fallen but the death rate for women with diabetes has shown no sign of improvement. Researchers are not sure why women are dying at a higher rate.

You can– and SHOULD reverse belly fat, pre-diabetes, and complications from diabetes by keeping your blood sugar levels under control. Personal Trainer Food can help you do that, whether you have a few pounds to lose or not.
