FREE Eat Smart Tip Sheets to Help You Avoid Overeating on Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving, with all its food-based traditions, can pose a real challenge for anyone who is watching their weight – especially since the average Thanksgiving dinner ranges from 3,000 to 4,500 calories.

Most people gain between 1 and 5 pounds during the holiday season (Thanksgiving-Christmas- New Year's Day) which will be difficult, if not impossible to lose.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

"If you know how to eat smart, you don't have to deprive yourself of your Thanksgiving favorites in order to keep your calorie consumption in check," says Ruth Houston, author of the upcoming book, Eat Smart and Lose Weight:  Scientifically Proven Ways to Lose Weight without Diets or Exercise.

Houston has two free tip sheets with practical advice to help weight-conscious Thanksgiving guests avoid packing on the pounds next week.

In the first tip sheet, entitled "Eat Smart for Thanksgiving if You're Watching Your Weight" Houston shares some easy ways for dieters to put the eating odds in their favor on Thanksgiving Day.

In the second tip sheet, entitled "Smart Ways to Avoid Overeating at a Thanksgiving Buffet," Houston shares specific tips on how to deal with the unique challenges of a buffet-style Thanksgiving meal.

Says Houston, "The tips are very easy to implement and will make it possible for anyone watching their weight to enjoy the Thanksgiving food and festivities without derailing their diet or sabotaging their weight loss plan. Most of the tips are taken directly from my upcoming book Eat Smart and Lose Weight which will be available the beginning of next year."

Both tip sheets are free. Dieters and weight-watchers can request the tip sheet of their choice as indicated below:
