Overview

Recent changes in the media landscape, including the conglomeration of media ownership, fewer local and regional reporters and the emergence of “fake news,” is the impetus of the event: “Covering the White House. Yesterday. Today and Tomorrow.”

In conjunction with his new book “Free the Press” Karem hosts this panel with panelist Jim Acosta, who along with Karem had his White House press credentials suspended by Donald Trump and panelist Sam Donaldson, who wrote the Foreword for Karem’s new book and is long considered one of the best to ever cover the White House.
