“Frustration, although quite painful at times, is a very positive and essential part of success.”

Bo Bennett

Can you give me a little advice?

I am constructing a digital course called “The Influencing Speaker.” The course covers the full process of how to prepare your best presentation, deliver it with comfort and ease, and how to follow-up with your audience after your presentation.

The course focus is on your needs as a speaker. This course will be about you, not me.

To that end, can you give me a little advice on what you would like to see in “The Influencing Speaker” course?

I seek your answers to the following three questions:

  • What are your frustrations when you prepare your presentations?

  • What are your frustrations when you deliver your presentations?

  • What three things would be most helpful in a presentation skills course?

To “prime your pump” below are some suggestions in the above three areas:

My Presentation Preparation Frustrations

Your preparation frustrations might include the following:

  • “How do I begin to prepare for this presentation.”

  • “I don’t have the time to prepare for this presentation.”

  • “How am I going to decide what material is relevant and what is not for my audience.”

In addition to your presentation frustrations, there are frustrations you have about your presentation delivery

My Presentation Delivery Frustrations

Your delivery frustrations might include the following:

  • “I get so flustered when I am speaking before an audience.”

  • “I have a hard time thinking of answers to questions from the audience.”

  • “I never know whether my audience is getting my message.”

So, you have had a chance to think about your presentation preparation and delivery frustrations. What are the three most important things you would like to get out of “The Influencing Speaker” digital course.

Three Things Most Helpful for My Presentations

Three things most helpful for you to learn might include the following:

  • “What are the steps I need to follow to prepare (includes practice) my presentation?”

  • “How can I best engage my audience?”

  • “What is the best way to open my presentation?”

So, we have explored the possible frustrations you have during your presentation preparation and delivery. We have also explored three possible things you would like to see in “The Influencing Speaker” digital course you would find most helpful for your presentations.

Just so it is clear. I am asking you to take action to contact me and let me know your presentation preparation and delivery frustrations and three things you would like to see in “The Influencing Speaker” digital course you would find most helpful for your presentations.

Please send your response to frank@speakleadandsucceed.com. Please put the words “The Influencing Speaker Course” in the subject when you respond.

You can also respond to me on LinkedIn or Facebook.

If you send me your e-mail when you respond, I will send you a PDF of my latest book, “Speak Well and Prosper: Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Better Presentations” and a Presentation Skills Checklist. Also, let me know if you want to receive this weekly newsletter (your e-mail is required).
