This Christmas, children can hear from "Santa Claus" himself via
printable letters from Santa available at a new Web site, SantaPrintables.com.
The site features more than 21 printable letters from Santa, tailored to different ages, genders and situations.
All of the letters are free to download and print in PDF format (printable via Acrobat's free reader), or pay $5 to instantly download a customizable letter in .DOC format, which is compatible with Microsoft Word.
"SantaPrintables.com offers well-written, thoughtful letters from Santa with a dash of humor thrown in," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "They're authentic-looking, festive and so easy to download and print."
The letters are each signed by Santa, and each is formatted on full-color Christmas stationery.
Some of the letters are tailored to children in specific situations, such as a child with a
Christmas Birthday or a kid who lives in a
house with no chimney.
Santa doesn't overlook anyone in the family. There are even printable
Santa letters for dogs and cats. There's a letter referencing
the Christian faith, a letter from
Santa on Baby's first Christmas and a joke letter from
Santa to a grownup.
If users opt for the $5 premium version, they can instantly download a fully editable letter and simply click and "overtype" to insert the child's name, reference family members and gift requests, and so on.
"We've tried to include something for everyone on SantaPrintables.com," Savetz said. "And if you don't find exactly what you're looking for, simply download a premium version and use the wording as a template to customize the letter yourself. I'm sure Santa won't mind."
The site is especially handy for last-minute gifts, as there's no cutoff date to download the letters and Santa's grownup helpers (parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, etc.) can always make sure the letter gets in the mailbox or Christmas stocking.
