Imploding
At our favorite restaurant last night we watched a couple at an adjoining table demonstrate total self-absorption. They returned the ice in the side glasses accompanying their martinis because the ice wasn’t “spiced” (from the original shake). The woman returns broccoli that’s not chopped in her preferred manner. They complain about everything (yet keep coming back) as if to prove they’re somehow “sophisticated.”
This is why I don’t own a restaurant.
It’s too easy to poison food.
