RocketCalendar.com launched in 2009, and features printable calendars from the years 1900 through 2099. All of them are free to download and print.

The site originally had calendars from 1950 to 2050, but interest in both past and future dates proved so high that site creator Kevin Savetz has continued to expand the numbers and types of calendars offered.

"I've had many requests for lunar calendars, and am pleased to have added versions for each month of 2010 and 2011," Savetz said. "Each month shows the progression of the moon's cycle, and also notes the dates of the new moon and the full moon."

Lunar calendars, which are based on a solar or lunisolar year, are often used for religious purposes as well as by anyone who wishes to track the changing moon.

RocketCalendar.com allows users to generate, for free, a regular (Gregorian) or lunar calendar in PDF form that can be easily opened and viewed with Adobe Acrobat's free reader and then printed.

There are more than 70 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
