justicejonJournal?s KQTH, Tucson Re-Brands; Shifts Jon Justice to Late Mornings.  Leaving the station brand ?The Truth? behind, Journal Broadcast Group news/talk KQTH, Tucson is making a few adjustments to its air schedule as well.  As per John Schuster?s piece in Tucson Weekly, the station is taking the slogan ?104.1 KQTH, Tucson?s News and Talk.?  Jon Justice, who?s been heard in morning drive since the station debuted on the FM dial seven years ago, is moving to the 8:30 am to 12:00 noon slot where he?ll compete with Rush Limbaugh, heard on Clear Channel?s KNST from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.  Taking over the morning show on KQTH is program director Bill White, who will host a news wheel show.

ramseyRaleighDave Ramsey Presents Live in Raleigh.  Nationally syndicated talk superstar Dave Ramsey was in Raleigh on tax day presenting his ?Legacy Journey LIVE!? event to a sold-out crowd at the Durham Performing Arts Center.  Ramsey?s presentation focuses on how to win with money, strengthen marriages and lead your children with confidence.  His daughter, Rachel Cruze, joined him on stage.  Ramsey worked with Clear Channel affiliate WTKK ?106.1 FM? to promote his appearance.  WTKK program director Brian Taylor comments, ?When Dave comes to town it?s a reminder that our format is not inherently niche.  Build it and they will come.  Listeners turnout for Dave.  Identifying issues and concerns is one thing ? it?s quite another to offer practical and actionable solutions we can all accomplish.  At WTKK Raleigh, all three numbers are solid: Ratings, revenue and attendance.?  Pictured here are (from left to right): Cruze, Clear Channel Raleigh market manager George Allen, Ramsey, program director Brian Taylor and general sales manager Dave Beecher.
