I was receiving strange signals the other day as I was reading someone’s newsletter on the internet, and I realized I was getting a whiff of……..ChatGPT! The sentence structure ranged from Elizabethan to professorial. When I learned rudimentary Spanish for my work in South America, it struck me that it stranger sentence structure to say something in Spanish as it did in English. That same phenomenon struck me here. Instead of “It was a dark and stormy night,” the wording would be, “The night was dark and filled with storms.”
Bleh.
This is happening to me more and more often. I’m concluding that I can sense, smell, and feel ChatGPT being substituted for human communication.
In other words, I have “GPTDar.”
