Georgie - Beautiful!
Not to be outdone by the recent media frenzy surrounding the "World's Ugliest Dog," Georgie, a 10-year old Shih Tzu, has decided that it's time to focus on the beautiful dogs of the world. Georgie is announcing her new blog, The World's Most Beautiful Dog.. Visit http://worldsmostbeautifuldog.wordpress.com She is represented by the Las Vegas Convention Speakers Bureau and is delighted to be their first canine client. She is available for personal appearances, photo sessions, and – upon approval – product endorsements.
Georgie will offer special pet tricks and tips in her new blog. She is hoping to inform, educate, motivate, and ultimately attract attention as "The World's Most Beautiful Dog." She is also on the lookout for other show-stopping dogs who are looking for exposure. "The world has focused on ugly dogs for far too long," Georgie's spokesperson and president of the LVCSB, Robin Jay, offered. "There are delicate, small, adorable dogs who deserve our attention, too.." Jay says, "We are living in a society that is spending more on our pets than we do on our children, and that is including the kid's COLLEGE tuition! Between health care for dogs, non-essential products, nutrition, and recreation, dogs are big business.." The reason that people go crazy for their pets, suggests Jay, is that, "Dogs give back our love and attention with interest. They ask so little and yet they give us so much. And, since they can't talk, they never complain! Spending time in the company of a wonderful dog is often preferable to spending time with friends or family who bring little to the table. Dogs are optimistic and happy…and the health benefits for humans who have pets have been documented; spending time with a pet can lower your blood pressure and help you to relax.." Georgie plans on hosting contests, profiling other beautiful dogs, and is looking into the possibility of a merchandising line.
