Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND -Chris Garrat, Marketing Director of Bang Marketing was recently named a Groundhog Ambassador. Garrat earned his nomination by exposing the Groundhog legend to an entirely new audience, helping build the Punxsutawney destination brand in the UK. Garrat states 'Groundhog Day isn't traditionally celebrated in the United Kingdom, possibly due to a shortage of indigenous Groundhogs. However cold and long winters are certainly endured, and any positive signs that the winter is coming to a close would be celebrated with gusto.'
