Meet The Judges Night A Great Success

On January 27, 2010, more than 250 family law attorneys gathered at The Beverly Hills Hotel for "Meet the Judges Night." The event was co-sponsored by the Family Law Sections of the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles County Bar Associations. Judge Marjorie Steinberg introduced more 25 presiding officers from the Central District and nearby courts. Evan T. Sussman, Chair of the Family Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar, and Roberta B. Bennett, his counterpart at the Los Angeles County Bar Association, chaired the program. Sussman, a Certified Specialist in Family Law, said, "Meet The Judges Night is an important opportunity for family law attorneys to find out what judges want and how to represent clients more effectively. It's a tribute to our judiciary that they take the time to attend such events in great numbers."
