Lifesaving Resources Inc. (lifesaving.com) trained and certified 28 Firefighters as Ice Rescue Technicians by the conclusion of their training on Saturday, February 6, 2010.  Firefighters from the Fame Fire Department (Pennsylvania); Lionville Fire Department (Pennsylvania); Niverville Fire Department (New York); North Conway Fire Department (New Hampshire); and OWL Fire Department (Virginia) participated in this intensive one-day training program.  The course was conducted by Lifesaving Resources at their Water and Ice Rescue Training Center in historic Harrisville, New Hampshire with the assistance of Instructors from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Lifesaving Resources will be conducting their annual Ice Rescue Train-the-Trainer Academy, February 18 - 21, to train instructors from Public Safety and Rescue agencies as Ice Rescue Instructors, and will be conducting an additional Ice Rescue Technician Course on March 6.  In addition, the company currently has over 300 authorized instructors throughout the U.S. and Canada who will be conducting Ice Rescue courses on behalf of their own departments/agencies.
