Hilco Industrial to Conduct Auction of AE Light Metal Casting Georgia

Closing of Aluminum Die Casting Facility Brings Late Model Machinery to Market
Hilco Industrial, LLC, http://www.hilcoind.com, will conduct an internationally webcast auction offering machinery and equipment of AE Light Metal Castings Georgia, Inc. on June 21, 2009.
A division of German-based AE Group, AE Light Metal Castings Georgia, Inc. opened its LaGrange facility in 2005 and supplied aluminum die cast parts for the automobile industry.
The facility features aluminum die cast cells manufactured as recently as 2008, as well as a melting furnace system and ancillary die cast equipment. CNC equipment, including gear shapers, turning centers and machining centers, will also be offered. The auction will also offer inspection equipment, including a brand new 2008 coordinate measuring machine and an X-ray inspection machine, along with plant support equipment, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Because the machinery in this facility was all recently manufactured and used for such a short period of time, the auction offers an extremely rare opportunity for die cast manufacturers.
