Document Feeders
Document Feeders

Document feeders, which feed papers into a scanner, photocopier or other office machine, are the focus of a new Web site, DocumentFeeder.com. The easy-to-read online guide explains the features and functions of different types of document feeders as well as how to choose the best product for a particular office setting.

The most common type of document feeder is the Automatic Document Feeder, or ADF, which works electromechanically and uses a tray to hold paper documents to be fed one at a time into a copier, fax machine, printer, scanner or specialty device such as a printing press.

"All document feeders are not created equal," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "On DocumentFeeder.com, users can find the details they need to help choose the ADF or similar product that is best for their situation"

By investing in an ADF, businesses can process many more documents more quickly without the need for additional office staff.

DocumentFeeder.com explains the different sizes, speeds and capacities of the various devices on the market. Some have special features such as duplex printing or a flatbed scanner. ADFs are included with many office machines or may be available as an add-on.

Also included on the site is advice on caring for a document feeder as well as where and how to obtain replacement parts.

DocumentFeeder.com is a companion to AllAboutShredders.com and AllAboutLaminators.com, both Internet resources for anyone shopping for or using paper shredders and laminators at home or in an office setting.

AllAboutShredders.com was launched in 2006, and AllAboutLaminators.com was added in July 2009. In October 2009, ProofingPaper.com (all about proofing paper) was added to round out the printing-related tools.

Besides DocumentFeeder.com, ProofingPaper.com, AllAboutLaminators.com and AllAboutShredders.com,Savetz Publishing, Inc., has created nearly 60 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites. Savetz Publishing, Inc. is a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
