Malibu, CA
Friday, July 23, 2010

The number one question people are asking Deborah King about is how to get started with a meditation routine. Deborah King, a noted lecturer, contemporary healer, & recognized expert in the health & wellness field, as well as a national best-selling author of "Truth Heals", teaches an advanced course in meditation through her 21st Century Energy Medicine class and has some great advice for beginners. Here are 3 practical steps when learning how to meditate:

Step 1- Find a teacher. Not just any teacher or audio tape. Go online, get referrals from friends, visit metaphysical bookstores to find out who is available in your area.

Step 2- Take a few classes in meditation until you can find a style that is right for you. Transcendental mediation techniques are a common approach and very effective, but there are other styles out there that you may relate to better.

Step 3- Schedule a time to make sure you do it each day. This will insure you receive the maximum benefits from meditation. To learn more about King's 21st Century Energy Medicine program, please visit http://www.deborahkingcenter.com/21stcenturyenergymedicineprogram/
