I’ve been traveling more than ever lately so I’m glad to be back home in KL. At my annual Extravaganza last Sunday in KL I was happy to see so many familiar faces – good friends and students, many who travelled thousands of miles to hear my analysis and predictions for the coming Year of the Rooster.
For those of you who missed both extravaganzas (Singapore and KL) we will soon be offering the videos of the event, which I recommend to all of you – even those who did attend. There are many little points that you may not always catch at a live event and it’s good to revise them with video in hand so you get your feng shui right for the coming year. Many of you have asked me if you need to buy all the recommended cures and enhancers for the year and I want to stress that you do not need to do this. You should be sure to get the cures for the most afflicted sectors like for the Five Yellow in the South, the 3 Killings in the East, the number 2 illness star that has flown into the home of the patriarch (NW) in 2017 and the violent burglary star in the SW. Of course the enhancers are important as well. Get the ones that apply most to you and your situation – the ones that appeal to you. The good news is that the number 1 Victory Star, a white star, dominates the center of the chart and promises to bring great improvement over the past year. There will be more harmony and growth for all on the horizon so using some enhancers will also benefit you greatly.

How to Overcome the Hostile 3 Star In 2017
The number 3 star that lands in the WEST this coming year is also known as the Quarrelsome Jade Star and Star of Hostility. If you have ever experienced the pernicious effects of this star, you know what I am talking about.
It brings conflicts and misunderstandings, as well as legal problems and incidents with the law. It not only causes a great deal of mental stress and aggravation but it can strike suddenly when you are least expecting it. It may be a lawsuit from a disgruntled employee, a nasty divorce or even just not being able to get along with your spouse or family. It’s also a gossipy star so be aware that friends or co-workers may turn against you suddenly and for seemingly no reason. You need to protect yourself from the dangers of this quarrelsome, bad energy star.
Now in 2017 because it lands in the WEST, it affects the daughters of the family, and those of you born in the year of the Rooster. The good news is that it is not as strong as it could be because West is a METAL sector and metal easily overcomes the element of the 3 star which is wood. But don’t get overconfident – you still need to put appropriate cures in place.
I suggest that you use fire energy, which will exhaust its wood element, and you can do this by keeping the lights bright in the West. You can also use red in your décor – red pillows or curtains and even carpets. Also remember to remove objects like fans and wind chimes as these may increase the energy of this star.

Don’t Over Decorate
Create Good Spacial Harmony One of the most basic points of feng shui is the way the energy flows in any given room in your home. What you should aim for is a meandering, slow and circuitous flow of energy. Therefore, it’s important not to over furnish or over decorate with large items of furniture that may make the room feel crowded. Go for an open airy look and allow the spatial harmony of good feng shui to bring you prosperity and well-being.
When you are feeling low or alone and feel in need of uplifting your energy, give yourself an hour or so in a public place where you know there will be lots of people. At this time of year you might consider going shopping at a nice mall where people are in the holiday spirit. This is an excellent restorative way for you to replenish your energy.
