The year 2016 is almost over, and I wanted to be sure and say Happy New Year to everyone today. I’m looking forward to a bright and happy 2017 with much growth and prosperity and I wish the same for all of you too.
So much of what happens to us in life is of our own making. We have the ability to recreate and change the direction of our lives… if we want to. Staying stuck in the same job or in a relationship that isn’t working or beneficial cannot bring you true happiness – and continuing to complain about it does little good. This coming Year of the Fire Rooster, ruled by the number 1 Victory Star, is the perfect year to make that career move you may have been thinking about or relocate to a new city with more opportunity. The number 1 star is an encouraging and nurturing star and those who take action are sure to benefit!
I challenge you to follow through with your dreams, make the moves you have been hesitant to make…and to follow your heart. Make the Year of the Fire Rooster the best year every for you and do it enthusiastically!

In my latest
Feng Shui Diary for the Year of the Fire Rooster, you will find the Lo Shu number of the day noted on each calendar day. For example, a day with the Lo Shu number of 2 enjoys the flying star chart with the number 2 in the center (shown below as an example).
From this chart you can determine the quality of luck in all nine sectors of your home or office for that particular day. So in the chart above we can see that the North has the burglary star, the 5-yellow is located in the Northeast, and the prosperity star # 8 is located in the Southwest and so on. So, for example if the entrance to your home or office or bedroom is located in the NE where the 5-yellow has landed you need to take appropriate precautions. In other words, you can use this as a guide to determine the kind of luck that visits your main entrance or bedroom each and every day!
Continuing with the example of the daily flying star chart with number 2 in the center, you will note that the hostility star 3 flies to the NW. If your main entrance at home or at your office is in the Northwest and you have an important meeting or you are in contract negotiations that day, place something red in the Northwest to counter the hostility 3 star.
This may sound a little overwhelming to you…but it’s really easy and just takes a few seconds to check – and it can make all the difference in the world. Be sure to order your

Discovering the Truth About You
All of us here on earth are truly spiritual beings manifesting in physical bodies. When we die we are shedding one skin and preparing for another, and in order to enjoy your life to the fullest you must discover your true spiritual self. It is then that the divine in you will surface and the golden light within will start to shine forth. When you find out what moves and inspires you, the courage to make necessary changes with a confident heart and mind comes more easily.
When this time comes and you must make changes in your current life it may be difficult…but just do it. There are times in your life when it is essential to follow your heart, especially when it comes to creating a life and lifestyle that will bring you closer to your spiritual self. Have faith that the universe will provide and that you are living a cosmic plan.
In the 1980’s in Hong Kong, when I discovered that I had had enough being a banker, I simply resigned and did something else – even though at that time it meant giving up one of the most powerful and prestigious jobs in Hong Kong. The Violent Star 7 Flies to Southwest in 2017
The metal star 7 flies to the SW this year and the intrinsic earth energy of the SW strengthens this violent star. This is a nasty star – one that brings bloodshed, robbery, violence and physical danger. This year, being in the SW, the signs of the sheep and the monkey are affected as well as the matriarchs.
Here’s what to do: You can control this star with the Rhino & Elephant in the natural habitat and it is good to have a pair of elephants or rhinos or other door guardians at your front door. Tie a red ribbon to their neck to empower. Remember to check your alarm systems at home, make sure they are in good working order and turn them on daily. Carry the Anti-Burglary keychain as well.
Fighting Perfection
It’s impossible to be perfect! Events and outcomes almost never work out as we plan. Sometimes they exceed our expectations and other times we are disappointed. The key here is to be kind to yourself no matter what happens. Don’t worry so much about occasional failures – consider it just another life lesson or bad luck and move on.
