December is the time of the year I recommend you get online to find your true love and get ready for the online dating frenzy in January. Since more than 80% of my successfully coupled clients from the last 20 years have met through online dating sites, many now ask me, “Which marriage-minded dating sites should I consider?”

Several sites lend themselves to be considered one of the top marriage-minded dating sites.

I just want to note that I’m not getting a penny from any of these dating sites for mentioning them in this article!

One of the marriage-minded dating sites that everyone goes to is eHarmony. It was the original site for those who were serious about finding a marriage partner. This still holds true today.

When I Googled “Which dating site leads to the most marriages?” I got this answer:

Match has become a top choice for singles looking for long-term relationships. With 25+ years of experience in the dating industry, it’s no surprise this app comes out on top in most of our roundups.”

And when I look at my successfully coupled clients and which site comes up as the most successful for love connections, it’s definitely Match!

Another question I Googled:

“Is Hinge good for marriage?” Hinge is a dating app (you use it on your smartphone) that’s used by primarily 20- and 30-somethings.

According to The Knot 2022 Engagement and Jewelry Study, Hinge is officially the best dating app, as it was responsible for pairing 30% of couples who met online—a 9% increase from 2021. This particular dating app has seen tremendous growth over the years.

The Knot study also mentioned Bumble and OkCupid as being for those seeking marriage.

Personally, I found marriage-minded dating sites that specialize in a particular religion like JDate, Christian Mingle, CatholicMatch, and Upward (another Christian app) encourage marriage-minded dating.

The site Consumer Rankings also talks about marriage-minded dating sites and confirmed what I think:

“With tens of millions of singles using online dating services each month, picking one of the best dating websites is an easy way to expand your current dating options. If marriage is your goal, you’ll want to choose a service with similarly marriage-minded singles, such as eHarmony. And if you just want to meet someone and see where things go, using the dating sites with the largest possible user base, such as Match.com, should provide you with the best chances of success.”

I need to make the point that it isn’t necessarily the dating site you’re on that matters most.

Instead, your success in meeting your marriage partner has everything to do with how you qualify those you’d like to meet and those who’d like to meet you. You can meet your marriage partner on any multitude of dating sites.

You need to clearly express your goals on the particular dating site and clearly state you’re seeking a marriage partner as your ultimate goal. And then, you need to carefully qualify the people you’re dating as having the same goal. How well you do these things will determine your success in coupling with someone who is also seeking a marriage partner.

Given there are thousands of dating sites and apps, how do you choose which marriage-minded dating sites to try? I tell my clients to ask people they know in their age group who’ve met their spouses online recently, “On which site did you meet your spouse?”

There’s a herd mentality when it comes to online dating. In other words, people on any particular dating site tend to have similar goals. The tricky part is that these goals can change over time. The bottom line is where you choose to search for true love matters.

Being on the right marriage-minded dating site for you can save you lots of time in your search for true love.

I wish you the best in finding your life partner for marriage. If you need some help and guidance, I’m here to make your journey easier and take less time! Visit www.talkwithcoachamy.com, fill out the form, and schedule some time for us to talk.
