99 Cent Only Stores, known for their low prices, apparently, thinks they are competent to lower the requirements regarding the ADA.

Since February of 2012, there have been four (4) incidents over ADA issues; one resulted in the Las Vegas Metro Police intervening.

When you have laypersons acting on legal issues and upon information and belief, no corporate general counsel, then violations will run unbridled.

Major chains with true corporate legal governance, such as Smith's Food and Drug, Whole Foods, Wal-Mart and Trader Joe's, there are expedited interventions working to resolve the ADA issues upon the first incident, not allowing it to perpetuate resulting in a US DOJ filing.

What makes this filing paradoxical, the requester received a call from the customer resolutions department four (4) days prior to the last incident, assuring them that all the stores in the area were 'trained' by the District Manager and it wouldn't happen again.
