Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry & Watches was recently granted the trademark Crazy About Jewelry!® from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C. The trademark will be used on items for people who are Crazy About Jewelry!® and will include innovative jewelry products and gifts made by American designers and items designed by Susan Eisen, jewelry expert and designer, and produced in El Paso. Eisen created the name for the title of the book she wrote and published in 2007, entitled Crazy About Jewelry! An Expert Guide to Buying, Selling, and Caring for your Jewelry. After 28 years of operating a retail jewelry store, Ms. Eisen found that there are millions of people who are Crazy About Jewelry!® and her products will be on her website, www.crazyaboutjewelry.net. Other registered trademarks owned by Susan Eisen include Lifetag®, Lifetag Kids®, Treasure Trays®, and Forever Fire®.
Susan Eisen is a jewelry appraiser, author, and the President and Chief Designer at Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry & Watches. Her titles include Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, Certified Gemologist Appraiser with the American Gem Society, certified member of the International Society of Appraisers and Senior Member and Master Gemologist Appraiser@ of the American Society of Appraisers, a title held by only 4 other people in Texas and only 42 in the entire United States. An El Paso native, she founded her first store in 1980, is now located at 5857 North Mesa, and does custom jewelry designing, repairs, and jewelry and fine art appraising. In 2008, Ms. Eisen added a gallery to her store featuring El Paso artists and handmade crafts and exhibits art pieces made by artists who specialize in unique and creative products.
