Susan Eisen One of 5 in Nation Chosen To Serve on Executive Advisory Council

Susan Eisen, President and jewelry designer at Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry & Watches, was recently chosen to serve on the Gemological Institute of America?s Alumni Executive Advisory Council as one of only 5 members in the nation. As a member of the council, Ms. Eisen will assist the Gemological Institute of America Alumni Association in advancing their graduates and creating new and exciting educational offerings for people in the jewelry industry. Ms. Eisen became a Graduate Gemologist in 1986 and has subsequently become a Certified Gemologist Appraiser of the American Gem Society and a Master Gemologist Appraiser® of the American Society of Appraisers. She is the author of her first book, entitled Crazy About Jewelry! The Expert Guide to Buying, Selling, and Caring for Your Jewelry®, and is also the creator of LIFETAG® Medical Identification Jewelry as well as Treasure Trays®.

Susan Eisen is the President and Chief Designer at Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry & Watches, a graduate gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, a Certified Gemologist Appraiser with the American Gem Society, a certified member of the International Society of Appraisers and a senior member and Master Gemologist Appraiser® of the American Society of Appraisers, a title held by only 4 other people in Texas and only 42 in the entire United States. An El Paso native, she founded her first store in 1980, is now located at 5857 North Mesa, and does custom jewelry designing, repairs, and jewelry and fine art appraising.
