Be content with winning. Don’t insist that for you to really “win” the other person has to “lose.” I’ve known too many people who are not satisfied with victory and continue to suffer because they don’t feel the other person has sufficiently lost his or her side of the argument.
You don’t think that’s real? There’s no reason on earth why a high school team vastly superior to a smaller school has to win by 50 points. If you can’t respect the team or person who’s lost on that day or in that argument, then how can you respect yourself?
