Comprise

Comprise, a Boulder, CO-based firm that serves clients across B2B, technology, new and emerging markets, acquires tech PR agency VisiTech. The acquisition takes full effect on May 1. VisiTech founder and CEO Lisa (Wilson) Tafolla will join Comprise as a strategic business advisor, giving VisiTech’s client portfolio access to Comprise’s integrated suite of PR and digital marketing services as well as a larger team of business storytelling experts. Founded in 1998, VisiTech has deep industry relationships and expertise in the global business-to-business technology market, including media and entertainment, telecommunications, mobile, service providers and IT. “Lisa and the VisiTech team have built an outstanding reputation over nearly three decades, and we look forward to integrating the VisiTech team and client roster,” said Comprise CEO Doyle Albee. “VisiTech’s skills, relationships, expertise and client base ideally complement our existing business, making this a natural fit.”

Lucky Break

Lucky Break Public Relations launches Impact, a DEI practice that will work with the agency’s growing roster of for-profit and nonprofit LGBTQ+ partners. The roster for the new practice includes equalpride, the National LGBTQ Task Force, OUTLOUD Music Festival and Capital Pride Alliance. Impact is led by Lucky Break founder and principal Mike Stommel and VP of communications Mark Umbach. "Impact is made up of a team of diverse communication specialists who reflect the communities we serve,” said Stommel. “A key focus for Impact will be to help clients successfully navigate an increasingly polarized consumer marketplace while remaining committed to DEI initiatives."

Next

Next PR selects the Food Research & Action Center and The Petey Greene Program to receive pro bono services as the primary partners in its Conscious Capitalism program, with projects running from April-September 2024. For the Food Research & Action Center, a national nonprofit working to improve the nutrition, health and well-being of people struggling against poverty-related hunger, the agency will work to build brand awareness. The Petey Greene Program, which supports the academic goals of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people, will be supported with both national and local media outreach. The Morgan Adams Foundation, which raises money and awareness on behalf of children with cancer, and Judith Creed Horizons for Achieving Independence, which helps adults with developmental differences and disabilities live life on their own terms, will also receive services as part of the program.
