How to Teach Your Children the Most Critical Financial Life Skills Audio Program

A recent survey shows kids go to moms first when they want to talk about money. The challenge for moms is: what do you say and when do you say it? Most adults today were never taught financial skills as children. Nancy Phillips, the mother of two young children and founder of DollarSmartKids Enterprises, has released an innovative new program to help moms feel good about teaching their kids key financial skills.

Several years ago Phillips wanted to know exactly what to teach her own children about financial and life success skills and couldn't find what she was looking for. That led to a period of extensive research to find the "best practices" she could use at home. With a background in product development and international business, she decided to create the products she wasn't able to find; those that combined personal financial skills with life success skills needed in today's world. Now Phillips is sharing this information through an easy to use audio program in which she has boiled down the most essential skills into building blocks or "milestones." Moms and dads everywhere can use the simple concepts and lessons with their children during daily life right from the pre-school years through to the end of high school. Phillips says "moms need to be aware of these universal skills and when to teach them so their children have the opportunity to get hands-on practice and build their experience along with their knowledge. It's just like a sport; everyone needs practice to master a skill, they don't learn when someone else does it for them."

The milestones and framework discussed within the audio program and workbook give moms a roadmap showing what to teach their children according to age. "Moms are so busy these days that the thought of reading a financial education book at the end of the day can seem overwhelming and not very motivating - even if we know we should. This program has been created in an audio format so moms can learn all the essential information they need in a relaxing way. We've all needed a roadmap to teach our children these skills for quite some time, and it's essential to our children's future well-being that we take action and do it," comments Phillips.

Some of the topics addressed on the audio include:

*The Number One Trait in Children that Predicts Future Financial Success in Adulthood and How to Enhance It

*The Mom Effect

*Why It's So Important to Start Early and How to Get Started

*Damaging Teaching Mistakes All Parents Should Avoid

*Money Skills to Teach Your Child by Age

*The Importance of Entrepreneurial Thinking for Children Today

*The Power of Giving and How It Can Change a Child's Life

*A Simple Yet Powerful Wealth Building Habit that's Easy to Learn and Fun to Use

*What to Say to Your Teens During "The Talk" about Credit Cards

"Financial illiteracy doesn't have to continue in future generations, we can break the vicious cycle now. Moms have an incredible opportunity to shape their children's financial future," Phillips concludes.
