A recent survey shows kids go to moms first when they want to talk about money. The challenge for moms is: what do you say and when do you say it? Most adults today were never taught financial skills as children. Nancy Phillips, the mother of two young children and founder of DollarSmartKids Enterprises, has released an innovative new program to help moms feel good about teaching their kids key financial skills.

Several years ago Phillips wanted to know exactly what to teach her own children about financial and life success skills and couldn't find what she was looking for. That led to a period of extensive research to find the "best practices" she could use at home. With a background in product development and international business, she decided to create the products she wasn't able to find; those that combined personal financial skills with life success skills needed in today's world.
