Did you scramble around just to meet the April 15 filing deadline? It's true. The IRS gives you a second chance to get it right. And because you have up to 3 years from the date your return is filed in which to amend it, you might even be able get money back from years past. Even better, if an amended return cuts your taxes for past years, you'll get money back with interest. So don't waste any more time. If the IRS owes you money, go after it.
