Portland, Oregon (10.24.11) – Rising star Matt Lanter has answered Shoe Revolt's question, "What shoes do you have to kick sex trafficking to the curb?"

Lanter was born in 1983 in northeastern Ohio, and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He began attending college at the University of Georgia, but moved to Los Angeles in the middle of his studies to pursue his dream career. Throughout the years, he has starred in guest roles on popular television shows, such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Big Love, Shark, Grey's Anatomy, and Monk. Most recently, he has appeared in big screen movies such as Vampires Suck, Disaster Movie, The Roommate and The Last Summer. He was also a voice character in the Star Wars animated series as Anakin Skywalker. Lanter currently stars as bad boy Liam on The CW's new version of 90210. This is not the first time Lanter has shown his philanthropic side; he actively supports the Alzheimer's Association and has actively participated in events for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Matt Lanter donated a pair of grey sneakers with red lining from his personal closet to Shoe Revolt, an Oregon nonprofit that fights commercial sex trafficking in the U.S. through shoes. The pair is on sale now for $150.00 – a steal for these super cool autographed sneakers!

Shoe Revolt takes donations of shoes and sells them on their online boutique to raise funds for programs that support survivors of commercial sex trafficking. The executive director of one of those programs, Vashti's Voice, explains what having Shoe Revolt's support means, "I am excited and grateful that Shoe Revolt is raising funds for our program. I think people need to be aware that this crime is happening in every neighborhood, not just those in less affluent areas. People tend to feel disconnected and unmoved because they do not acknowledge the presence of this crime in their own domains."
