CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (TND) — A leading academic told The National Desk (TND) Wednesday she is a victim of plagiarism at the hands of embattled Harvard University President Dr. Claudine Gay.

Dr. Carol Swain is a political scientist and legal scholar whose academic background includes institutions such as Yale University and the University of North Carolina. In an interview with TND Wednesday, Swain said her work was taken by Gay to pad the university president’s doctoral thesis, which eventually allowed her to assume her role at Harvard.
