America's leading media expert, Michael Levine, today described Kamala Harris's new video attacking voter-registration safeguards as a political "heart attack" that could severely damage any future campaign for public office.

In the video, posted Friday on X and later shared by President Donald Trump on Truth Social, the former vice president condemned the SAVE America Act, claiming its documentary proof-of-citizenship requirement would make registering to vote more difficult.

"They're trying to mess with your ability to vote," Harris declared, before linking the legislation to the Supreme Court's recent Callais decision and arguing that voting protections are being systematically weakened.

Levine said the performance demonstrates precisely why Harris remains such a vulnerable national political figure.

"This video is a heart attack for Kamala Harris's future political life," Levine said. "She appears to be arguing that asking citizens to prove citizenship before registering to vote is somehow an assault on democracy. Most Americans will hear that argument and reasonably ask: Why shouldn't citizenship be verified?"

Levine added that Trump's decision to amplify the video was politically shrewd because Harris's own words provide the most damaging rebuttal.

"Trump didn't need to edit it, parody it, or criticize it," Levine observed. "He simply shared it. In modern politics, nothing is more devastating than an opponent who eagerly supplies your campaign commercial."

Levine concluded that Harris's conversational style cannot disguise what he called an extreme and politically hazardous message.

"The tone is casual, but the implications are serious," Levine said. "If Harris is auditioning for another presidential campaign, this video may be less a launchpad than an autopsy."
