     Susan Eisen, CEO of Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry & Watches, was recently granted the trademark for We Wrote the Book on Jewelry® from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C. The trademark will be used for items and information for collectors of antique periods and contemporary jewelry, diamonds, and gemstones. Other registered trademarks owned by Susan Eisen include LIFETAG® medical ID jewelry, LIFETAG Kids® medical ID jewelry for kids, Treasure Trays® jewelry organizers, Forever Fire® special ideal cut diamonds, Crazy About Jewelry!®, and Jewelry Makeover®, a technique for redesigning jewelry.

     Susan Eisen is a jewelry appraiser, author, and the President and Chief Designer at Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry & Watches. Her titles include Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, Certified Gemologist Appraiser with the American Gem Society, certified member of the International Society of Appraisers and Senior Member and Master Gemologist Appraiser@ of the American Society of Appraisers, a title held by only 4 other people in Texas and only 42 in the entire United States. An El Paso native, she founded her first store in 1980, is now located at 5857 North Mesa, and does custom jewelry designing, repairs, and jewelry and fine art appraising. In 2008, Ms. Eisen added a gallery to her store featuring El Paso artists and handmade crafts and exhibits art pieces made by artists who specialize in unique and creative products.
