Janice Litvin to Keynote 2026 CCISDA Fall Conference with

"Banish Burnout™: Surfing the Next Wave Without Losing Your Balance"

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (August 24, 2026) Banish Burnout Academy today announced that burnout expert, author and speaker Janice Litvin has been selected as a keynote speaker for the 2026 CCISDA Fall Conference, taking place September 13–16, 2026, at the Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay, California.

Litvin will present her keynote, "Banish Burnout™: Surfing the Next Wave Without Losing Your Balance," on September 15 from 12:30–1:30 p.m.

Playing off the conference's "Surfing the Next Wave of Government IT" theme, Litvin will address a challenge facing today's county IT leaders and teams: how to keep adapting to waves of change without allowing chronic workplace stress to undermine performance, engagement and retention.

As technology evolves and the pace of work accelerates, government IT professionals are continually being asked to learn, adapt and respond. New technologies, shifting priorities and increasing demands can create exciting opportunities—but they can also add to the pressures employees and leaders already carry.

Litvin is on a mission to help leaders and teams banish burnout in their organizations. Her approach recognizes that burnout prevention requires attention to both the workplace environment and the way individuals respond to stress.

"Burnout is more about the workplace," according to Christina Maslach, social psychologist, professor emerita of psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, and a foremost expert on burnout.

Litvin's programs address both sides of that equation. Organizational leaders chart the course and shape workplace culture, while managers play a critical role in translating that culture into employees' everyday experience. At the same time, individuals can learn to recognize their own stress reactions and develop healthier ways to respond before chronic stress takes over.

In "Banish Burnout™: Surfing the Next Wave Without Losing Your Balance," Litvin will give CCISDA attendees practical tools for recognizing stress triggers, changing habitual reactions and building greater resilience as they navigate ongoing change. The goal is to ride the wave without losing their balance.

Litvin's presentation takes place on Tuesday, September 15th at 12:30 p.m. She is the founder of Banish Burnout Academy and the author of Banish Organizational Burnout: 26 Tips for Managers. Her programs help organizations reduce burnout, improve engagement, strengthen leadership, and build cultures where people thrive.

Litvin's engaging presentation style combines practical burnout-prevention strategies with interaction and humor. According to Executive Presentation Skills Expert Patricia Fripp. She continues:

"Janice Litvin is a dynamic and engaging speaker. Her passion for wellness and burnout prevention and her deep knowledge of the subject make her an excellent choice. When we hired her to keynote our meeting, the entire audience was up dancing, including our 94-year-old member."

Founded in 1957, the California County Information Services Directors Association (CCISDA) improves the lives of its residents by leveraging CCISDA's collective experiences and developing innovative technology to serve their communities. More information about CCISDA can be found at CCISDA.org.
