Omekongo Dibinga and UPstander International have joined the fight against sex trafficking. Omekongo's new song "Don't sell bodies!" is his attempt to use hip-hop to help amplify the voices of those speaking out against sex trafficking. After seeing the advocacy work of Jada Pinkett-Smith and her daughter Willow Smith, Omekongo felt that it was necessary to add his artistic voice to the cause, which is not just happening overseass, but right here in the United States.

Says Omekongo: "After seeing Jada's incredible video on sex trafficking, I visited the Don't Sell Bodies website and was truly moved by the stories I read and watched. Once I saw the work that Jada and Willow were putting in on this issue, I felt compelled to contribute. I truly wish that more hip-hop artists would use their platform to speak on issues like this. Furthermore, I wish the media would draw more attention to rap songs like this instead of focusing on the negative issues in rap music today. Some of us rappers are truly working every day to make a positive difference in this world."

Omekongo is the UPstander. He is an award-winning artist who uses his skills as a speaker, poet, and musician to inspire positive change across the globe. His work has been televised in over 150 countries. He was selected by CNN as one of 5 people out of 750,000 to receive the first ever "iReport Spirit Award" for his video commentary.
