It’s easy to claim that everything works out for your highest good when you like how things work out. But suppose you don’t like your circumstances, results, or experiences. In that case, it’s contradictory to claim, “This is not working out for my highest good.”

That’s an inconsistent thought process.

Either it’s all working out for your highest good all the time…or none of the time.

Either the universe has your back all the time…or never.

And either you create things, results, or circumstances every day, or you create nothing, which means your life is out of your hands.

It’s either one way or the other. It can’t be both.

A Law is a Law

Let’s say you believe everything is happening for your highest good. If something unwanted happens—like you lose your job, break your ankle, or get dumped by your significant other—and you claim that it was not for your highest good, you negate your belief.

You claim the law only works some of the time. But a spiritual, metaphysical, or natural law works all the time.

Take gravity, for example. It’s a natural law and always at play. It can’t work some of the time. If that were true, you and everything around you would float off the ground the rest of the time.

A law is a law. It’s how something works.

Stop Negating Your Beliefs

The more you negate your beliefs, the harder it becomes to believe or trust they are true. And beliefs impact so much of what you create.

After all, beliefs are formed by repeated thoughts. And thoughts are creative. You’ve likely heard that where your thoughts go, you go. And where your attention goes, energy flows, or what you think about, you bring about.

For instance, if you believe you can’t do something, you won’t be able to. Or if you believe you are unworthy of love, you’ll struggle to find love.

Thus, if you believe that the universe only has your back sometimes, that will be your experience. You will create results, experiences, and circumstances that prove this true.

If you want it to be true that the universe has your back, you must believe that 100 percent of the time. And that means you have to believe it even when something unwanted happens.

You must believe the universe has your back 100 percent of the time.

Rewire Your Brain for Belief

Neuropsychology has proven our brains have neuroplasticity. We can change how the neurons fire together and create new neural pathways by repeatedly thinking a thought.

So, think a thought over and over again, especially in certain situations, and the brain forms a pathway between your thoughts and that situation. Eventually, you will create a belief.

The more often you think, “The Universe has my back”—no matter if your situation is desirable or not, the more often that is what you will experience. And the stronger your belief will become.

If You Created That, You Can Create This

The same goes for creating what you want or what matters to you. Either you are constantly creating, or you are never creating.

I believe we are creators, and we create all the time. To me, this is a law.

Therefore, I take responsibility for creating the desired results, experiences, or circumstances. I also claim responsibility for creating ones I don’t want.

Even if I unintentionally or subconsciously create a circumstance I don’t want, I know I created it. I don’t blame something outside myself.

Only then can I intentionally create a different circumstance I like.

Your Beliefs Impact Your Creations

Even if you don’t believe you are creating 100 percent of the time, you can probably get behind the fact that your beliefs impact how you see the world. It’s the lens through which you experience everything.

You interpret your circumstances through the lens of your beliefs. So, if you believe you are not a creator, no matter what happens, you “see” these things as the “fault” of something outside yourself, like an unsupportive universe.

On the other hand, if you believe you are a creator, you take responsibility for your life. You know you created it all, even if you did so subconsciously or unintentionally. You stand in your personal power and realize that if you created one thing—wanted or unwanted—you can create another.

Or if you believe everything is happening for your highest good, that will be how you interpret whatever happens to you. But as soon as you say, “Oh, now that couldn’t be for my highest good,” your belief system crumbles. And next time, you will have a more challenging time believing it is all happening for you not to you.

You must decide what you believe to be true. Then, stick with that belief, and you will experience its truth 100 percent of the time.

Are your beliefs contradictory?  If so, it’s time to change them. Become an Inspired Creator, and create what you desire from a place of authenticity, soul alignment, and personal power.
