Why is Hunter Biden suddenly everywhere?
After years of guarded silence, former President Joe Biden's son is appearing on podcasts, news programs and digital platforms, discussing everything from addiction and family turmoil to politics, public figures and his father's health.
America's leading media expert Michael Levine believes the answer is simple: Hunter Biden is attempting to reclaim ownership of a story that has long been told by prosecutors, politicians, journalists and political opponents.
"For years, Hunter Biden was treated as a character in everyone else's narrative," said Levine, founder of Boundless Media USA and author of Authentic P.R. "Now he is seizing the microphone and trying to become the narrator. Whether audiences believe him is another question entirely."
Hunter's appearances with personalities ranging from Gavin Newsom and Benny Blanco to Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes reflect a strikingly unconventional strategy. Levine says the diversity is intentional.
"He isn't pursuing traditional image rehabilitation," Levine explained. "He is practicing media saturation. The objective appears to be ubiquity, unpredictability and direct access to audiences that once knew him only through scandal."
According to Levine, the approach offers both opportunity and enormous danger. Speaking candidly about sobriety, family pressures and past drug addiction may humanize Hunter. But impulsive accusations, personal grievances and provocative political commentary could reinforce the very perceptions he hopes to overcome.
"Authenticity is the new credibility, but authenticity without discipline can become self-destruction," Levine said. "Every interview may liberate him personally while creating another headline professionally."
Levine argues that Hunter Biden's media blitz also reflects a changed political reality. With his father out of office, Hunter may feel freed from the obligation to protect an administration, a campaign or a carefully controlled family brand.
"The silence no longer serves him," Levine concluded. "Hunter Biden has decided that if his life is going to remain public property, he intends to set the asking price."
