We’ve just returned to KL from Singapore and my 2017 Extravaganza! It was so amazing and I want to thank the thousands of people who decided to spend the Sunday with me and learn about what is in store for the upcoming Year of the Fire Rooster!
I also want to wish all my friends in America a very Happy Thanksgiving Day tomorrow! Many who were with me in Singapore left after the Extravagana to be back in time to celebrate with their families. People travel thousands of miles to be together on this day…in fact it’s the biggest travel day of the year and about 150 million Americans are expected to make their way home via plane, car and train. It’s not unlike the many people in this part of the world who travel home for Chinese New Year celebrations. A great meal is prepared with special foods and holiday favorites as everyone gathers around the family table to share the feast in a happy and celebratory mood. And from the pictures that I have seen, I think they must inherently know how auspicious it is to have the dining table simply overflowing with food and delicious goodies!

Activating your luck in 2017Many of you who were with me at the Extravaganza last Sunday will remember that I spoke about both the lucky and unlucky sectors of the flying star chart for 2017. Here’s a quick recap of the lucky sectors only – you can find more about each sector and what to do as well as how to subdue the afflicted energy of the unlucky sectors in my annual Fortune and Feng Shui Horoscope Books that are now available…or come and see me in KL at my Extravaganza on the 11th of December.
When we look at the Flying Start chart for 2017 we can see that the lucky sectors are located in the middle (victory star 1), the north (heavenly star 6), the east (good fortune 8) and the southeast (completion star 9).
In the EAST we want to strengthen the # 8 prosperity star and the best way to do so is with Yang water since East is a wood element direction and water supports wood. This will bring wealth and success luck to you and the family. If you have a pool, pond or lake in this direction it’s great. You might also consider placing the 8 Doorways to Abundance Stupa here as well I which is also a potent energizer. Be sure to place this stupa in a respectful position in the EAST.
In the SOUTHEAST, we find the completion star #9 and when combined with the number 1 in the center of the chart creates a sum of ten combination. Put plenty of plants in the SE this year and energize the 9 star with a water feature powered by a turbine wheel since this corner benefits from water that moves and turns.
In the NORTH it is the # 6 star, or the Heavenly Star. This star brings mentoring luck so create a single bright star or light that represents your newfound benefactor. You can also energize the north sectors of other rooms that you frequently use.
The #1 Victory Star is in the center of the house bringing good luck to all and it is of the water element. This will be a competitive year for many, one filled with conquest and triumph. Place the Trinity of Horses in this sector – the Victory Horse for the #1 Star, the Windhorse to lift your success and the Tribute Horse triggers your prosperity luck.
Remember that in order to manifest the positive effects of each of the above sectors, it’s always good to energize with plenty of noise and activity. You can have the radio or TV on, install more bright lights or use a fan to help move the energy of these sectors! Keep your pets in these areas too as they always create needed yang energy.

Have You Checked Your Element Luck For 2017?What do we mean by Element Luck? Well, there are five aspects of luck affecting the prospects for your animal sign in the year 2017. They are Life Force, Spirit Essence, Health, Wealth and Success (Lung ta or Windhorse luck).
You will find your personal element luck tables in the chapter one under “LUCK OF THE RAT” (or whatever your personal animal sign is) in the

At a glance you can see if there are auspicious circles or the negative black “X”. The circles indicate from excellent to very good to good luck in each of the five categories while the black “X” suggests obstacles, bad luck and misfortune.
Here’s what each of the five luck categories represent:
LIFE FORCE – refers to your level of vitality. Some years we are more vivacious and active than in other years and this is always indicated by a good show of circles in your LIFE FORCE in the element luck table. Vitality is said to reside in our hearts, and so it sustains our life. If your LIFE FORCE is weak it must be strengthened.
SPIRIT ESSENCE offers a window into the soul or another way to express Spirit Essence is the luminosity of your spirit. This category of luck defines your inner chi which has psychic connections to your outside environment. If your spirit essence is strong friendly earth spirits will protect you and the local cosmic landlords of your surroundings will harmonize closely with your inner energy. You will have an aura that attracts help rather than hindrance from the spirits around you, which brings good spiritual feng shui.
HEALTH LUCK: This is the condition of one’s physical body and if weak you must make an effort to be extra careful about health and also strengthen your health energy using element enhancement.
WEALTH LUCK: This refers to the stability of your finances and if there are three circles indicated it suggests excellent wealth luck from additional or new sources of income. This category is also an indication of your PERSONAL POWER LUCK – your ability to achieve the aspirations you set for yourself. It refers to moral strength and determination. When it is positive it indicates you can attract prosperity and wealth using your own efforts, hard work and determination. When you activate your personal power, you will attract abundance and move smoothly ahead avoiding obstacles, disappointment and loss.
If your WEALTH LUCK is weak there is the possibility of some kind of financial disappointment such as not gaining the source of income you may have hoped for. Note that you can subdue the negativity by applying an element remedy.
SUCCESS LUCK or LUNG TA (Windhorse) – Your Success luck indicator is a powerful barometer of how the year will pan out for you – it measures the power of your inner “Lung Ta” which carries the energies of your mind. It’s strength varies from year to year…but those who are adept at spiritual meditations have the ability to serious empower themselves by increasing the strength of their inner Wind Horse. The power of the Wind Horse should never be underestimated…this is one of the great mysteries that Astrological Masters have kept secret and only shared with their most favored disciples. It has the power to make circumstances favorable for any animal sign and destroy unlucky influences that may be affecting your animal sign in 2017.
