This author may guess correctly why some one like you would decide to read a book like "Prolonging True Lives!"  You are assured that this cannot be a coincidenmce you are deciding to do so.  There is strong confidence that you are in search of new and better information on diabetes for yourself, a family member, a friend, a co-worker or for some one you know in the community with this condition that you are trying to help.  For many years now, this writer (himself) has been struggling with a personal battle concerning his own health; like many of you and those you know personally.  He has been doing everything that his Health Care providers continued to direct  him to do, but many a times things did not seem to be going great, as he may have wanted.  Then he decided to take personal responsibility for his health while he still continued to  consult with his care providers.  He undertook fresh and bold reseach for this book, in order to help himself and all of those suffering with this condition called Diabetes. In his path with the reseach, as he continued dealing with the disease  personally, he learned  that Good Health is a Choice that each one of us has to discover or be prepared  to establish for self.  Enduring problems in him as writer are his health difficulties; so are your health issues yours mainly, not your mother's health, not your father's health and definitely not your wife's or husband's health problems.  Your diabes as a major health issue in your life is your total responsibility like this writer, who vowed to take responsobility.  Remember, no one will ever care more about you, your personal health issues than you would forever.
