Prresently, Diabetes is the third leading cause of death here in these United States. With this condition or disease, the body does not produce enough or may not be even able to properly use insulin that is necessary to absorb glucose (sugar) into cells in the body to be converted into the body's energy. The unused sugar (glucose) that cannot be filtered by the kidneys, will continue to build up in the blood stream and when levels get dangerously high, can systematically cause damages in many body organs; interfering with normal body functions that sustain life itself.
