CLEARWATER, F.L., November 2, 2016 — For four hours in November, the headquarters of Clearwater marketing company PostcardMania will be transformed into an art gallery.
From 7-11 p.m. on Nov. 12, 2016, PostcardMania will host the art exhibition Color Storm: Three Latin Artists Meet, featuring the work of figurative artist Gimena Boccadoro, surrealist artist Pilar Gonzalez and abstract artist Alicia Suarez.
"We are happy to offer these three artists a space to share their work with the community," said PostcardMania CEO Joy Gendusa. "We love to support local artists both in the bay area and across the United States. I have a good-sized collection going at PostcardMania, and anyone who has been to our headquarters can attest to that! So it makes for the perfect backdrop for these emerging artists, whom we've very excited to host."
The halls of PostcardMania are adorned with works from local artist Debbie Kagan, from the west coast Colin O'Neal, world renowned glass artist Marlene Rose and others. Joy's most recent purchase is a kinetic sculpture by national artist Lyman Whitaker.
Artist Gimena Boccadoro hopes those in attendance will be inspired by the aesthetic atmosphere. "My purpose is to uplift via art," she said. "To provoke an emotion, effect, or simple message to each single individual that sees it. A little pleasure in life can last in one's memory forever."
The press and public are welcomed to attend. Entry is free. Light drinks and refreshments will be provided.
