CLEARWATER, F.L. — PostcardMania, the nation's fastest-growing postcard marketing company, held a ribbon-cutting celebration last week marking their expansion and purchase of Konica Minolta's latest and most powerful digital printing press.
PostcardMania is one of only two companies in the nation (five in the world) to invest in the AccurioJet KM-1 high-speed UV Inkjet press. This acquisition will allow the Clearwater company to provide more varied and higher-quality marketing products for small businesses across the United States, and bring more business right here to the Tampa Bay area.
To accommodate the Inkjet press and take full advantage of its technology, PostcardMania has expanded its commercial printing facility by purchasing the property at 2144 Calumet Street, adjacent to the company's headquarters.
"This new building is small compared to our headquarters," said PostcardMania Founder and CEO Joy Gendusa, "but it means so much to our growth."
The new digital press, which Gendusa and her staff lovingly named Printy McPrintface, "will allow us to provide marketing materials of the highest quality to the small business owners who depend on us to project the best possible image for their companies," said Gendusa, "and without breaking the bank."
As for the press itself, its capabilities are top of the line in the printing industry.

The celebration took place at the new building from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 27th and were attended by local business owners, neighbors and friends of PostcardMania, including Clearwater City Councilmember Bob Cundiff and Diane C. Hufford of the Clearwater Business Development Board.
