The IACP International Hall of Fame was developed in the spring of 2001, to recognize and honor those within the dog industry who have made an impact on the world of dogs and provided the dog world with a legacy that will always be remembered.

There are many unspoken and often unrecognized individuals and groups within our professions whose contributions have enabled all of us who love dogs to benefit from their life's vocation and dedication to dogs. The IACP International Hall of Fame is unique in that it is the first known and established award to recognize these those who work has created a legacy in the canine world.

It is not limited to any profession or any specific approach or technology but awarded to a person or group based on their work and devotion to the improvement of dogs and the companionship they provide.
