We’re busy here in KL getting ready for the New Year – there is so much preparation and shopping to get done…it’s a whirlwind of activity…but I love it. We Chinese take these preparations very seriously because it is most important that we follow tradition and safeguard the health and happiness and of course, the prosperity of our families.
If you follow tradition, cleaning thoroughly and clearing clutter is a must and for good feng shui it’s recommended all year long so that the chi can flow freely. But this is a good time to get things really clean – move furniture that hasn’t been moved all year, clean the cobwebs and wipe things down to rid yourself of all the stale energy that’s accumulated this year. Get rid of all those spider webs and dust!
Naturally any repairs to your house and condo should already have been completed – especially leaky faucets, plumbing problems, drainage issues and so on. Water is wealth and if anything is leaky, rusty or broken you can expect some financial problems so do take care of these things.
Take time to take care of yourself too. We often get caught up and forget that this can be a stressful and tiring time for us…so make your plans and allocate your time properly. You want to be beautiful, happy and ready to welcome the New Year with enthusiasm and gratitude for all that you have in your life. Take time to say your prayers and be thankful for all the blessings you have already received – your friends, your family, your health and well…you can name the rest.

Love is Blooming in 2017!
Did you know that 2017 is an excellent year for finding that man or woman of your dreams? There is a very simple feng shui method that you can use to speed things up if you are seriously looking for love and marriage and that is to activate your Peach Blossom Star.
The four animal signs at the cardinal points of the compass are “peach blossom animals” and your zodiac sign governs your peach blossom animal.
If you are a TIGER, HORSE or DOG your Peach Blossom animal is a RABBIT and you should place in the east of your bedroom.
If you are a RABBIT, SHEEP or BOAR, your Peach Blossom animal is a RAT, and you should place in the NORTH of your bedroom.
If you are a RAT, DRAGON or MONKEY, your Peach Blossom animal is a ROOSTER, and you should place in the WEST of your bedroom.
If you are a OX, SNAKE or ROOSTER, your Peach Blossom animal is a HORSE, and you should place in the SOUTH of your bedroom.
ENHANCING YOUR LOVE LUCK: Choose an image of your Peach Blossom animal that is beautifully decorated and bejeweled if possible. Don’t buy some cheap animal from the roadside or discount shop if you are looking for love. Remember this is symbolic of the kind of love luck that you want to attract! Place your peach blossom animal in the correct location in your bedroom or any room that you spend a lot of time in. Then shine a light or play some romantic music near your Peach Blossom animal to activate the pleasant energy frequencies of the sector.
And to add to your love luck this year, note that one of the special stars of the Paht Chee chart in 2017 is the Star of Peach Blossom. This star does not appear every year so be assured that there are plenty of love energies circulating for you to take advantage of. However, this star also brings the possibility of infidelity and third party interference n an otherwise happy marriage so do be aware of the influences that can manifest with the appearance of the Peach Blossom Star this year.
