Anticipatory Obedience
The Fascist's greatest tool is fear. Intimidation and extortion are threats that can lead to organizations doing what would please the autocrat to avoid unpleasant consequences. Creeping fascism relies on this to avoid resistance to the autocrat. Public resistance is the best way for those out of power to stop fascism.

Trumpism
I still feel strongly that the best "lens" to look at Trumpism is the lens of an insurrectionist movement. The best date to give the insurrection is January 6, 2021, when Trump launched his attack on the capital. Insurrectionists and those who aided and abetted them, should be banned from holding federal offices, but the Supreme Court evaded applying the constitution in the Colorado decision, pending congress passing enabling legislation. This is unlikely until Democrats regain control of House, Senate, and President, probably 2029. I would maintain Project 2025 actions are continuing actions of the insurrection to the extent they are lawless and unconstitutional actions promoting the ongoing attempts to install a fascist government. I think this is the best way forward to achieve a modern-day equivalent to the Nuremburg trials and de-nazi-fication of 1940s Germany. I see the current election of 2024 like the election of Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy, in 1868 as President of the United States. The fourteenth amendment was passed to stop such a result, and should have done so, except for the corrupt Supreme Court decisions in Colorado and Immunity cases, now. Trump is continuing to break laws and the constitution in an ongoing attempt to complete the work started on January 6th.
No Kings
Trump is cracking down on all potential centers of dissent including law firms, universities, the judiciary, blue cities, and blue states. Immigrants here over ten years without committing any crimes represent 70% of deportees, and even Joe Rogan thinks that's crazy. ICE has been used to attack such relative innocents, using masks, lawlessness, and unconstitutional practices like the German gestapo did. Capitulation to, and tolerance of, such pressure tactics enable fascism to succeed.
Norway Capitulation
The recent choice for the Nobel Peace Prize was nominated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio presumably entitled as a member of a "national legislature" for the nomination closing date of January 31, 2025 for this year's prize. As then chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee he has followed Machado for years as an opposition leader to Chavez twenty years ago and Maduro today. A fleet of US Navy ships and troops "stand by" employing gunboat diplomacy against Maduro and Venezuela.
The Lead Up
Trump has been campaigning for a Nobel Peace Prize all year long. On July 4th he stated that he was going to lose the Prize "to a professor nobody knows who writes about me." If Reuschlein were to win it would be for my discoveries in military economics and the global warming and cooling major war cycle, not my incidental comments about Trump. Nevertheless, he considered me a threat.

July August September October my website statistics show a very strong surge above recent years statistics coming from the Norwegians. I kept meticulous daily records since 2013. There was a dip for two days, August 23-24, followed by extremely unusual and sky-high statistics from Germany on wordpress.com August 23-26 (Saturday-Tuesday). I interpret this as the tentative decision to choose me for the Prize and let Jagland write it up. Why? History says the decision is usually in August, and they strive for consensus, Thorbjorn Jagland, when his job was in Strasburg, had rare looks on my wordpress.com website, one at a time, from worksite in France or home site in Germany across the Rhine. This stopped when he left the board in 2020. Apparently, he still lives in Germany and prefers my duplicate wordpress.com over expertclick.com because it is easier to look up old press releases there. Because of his college work in economics, he was the logical one for initial review in 2016 after the Peace Economics nominee (me). When they changed their minds, they may have rationalized they could give it to me next year or another year instead. Millions will needlessly die without widespread understanding of my pro peace theories and discoveries.
Months Before Award

Machado
Machado was chosen for the Prize on Monday October 5th. Norway may have thought this would please Trump while picking me would enrage him. She promptly appeared on Fox News saying he deserved the Peace Prize more than her and urged his selection next year. The irony is that she was chosen for working for democracy in Venezuela, when everyone knows Trump's best international friends are autocrats and he is trying to destroy democracy and make himself king in America. His tariff policy suggests he wants to be emperor of the world: look at his moves in Brazil and Argentina. He covets Greenland, Canada, and the Panama Canal.
