A Free Resource for Those Who Care About Change in Organizations

Rick Maurer, change management expert and best-selling business author, announces the launch of a new website Change Management Open Source Project at www.ChangeOSP.com. The website, a free resource for those that care about change in organizations, provides instant access to change materials, discussion groups, podcasts, videos, and connections with others interested in change management – plus, Maurer's new ebook Introduction to Change without Migraines, where he explains his proven approach to leading change.

"The new Change Open Source Project website was designed specifically as a free resource for professionals seeking change management information and connections with others interested in change," said Maurer.

"While the website offers free resources for leaders and consultants so they can build support for change in their organizations, it also includes provocative discussion groups for people interested in learning, applying, building on, and improving my Change without Migraines™ approach to leading and managing change in organizations," said Maurer. "This allows people to 'get under the hood' and tinker with the theory. I want people to improve my theory and practice of change management, and then share that knowledge with the rest of us."

"People are asking engaging and provocative questions in our discussion groups. The Change Open Source Project website has quickly become a great place to explore ideas and make connections," said Maurer.

Maurer has helped hundreds of large and small organizations, from Lockheed Martin to Rohm & Haas, understand and implement change. Now he shows people how they can lead change on their own.

According to Maurer, "Who knows a company or client better than the managers or in-house consultants? Open Source is about my realization that they should become the change agents in their organizations."

The Open Source Project is both an online forum for discussion groups and an online collection of Maurer's change management guidelines and professional presentation materials called Change without Migraines™. It includes discussion groups, podcasts on leading change, Maurer's ebook, Introduction to Change without Migraines, short videos, an outline for a half-day Change without Migraines training session, and a Power Point presentation depicting his Cycle of Change theory and the 3 Levels of Resistance and Support.

Why free? "My hope is that as people study the Change without Migraines approach more deeply, they'll make it even stronger – and find new places to apply this approach to change," Maurer explained. "If you're really interested in leading change or consult with those who are, connect with us."
