November 28, 2017

Make sure you schedule regular naps during this busy holiday to refresh your mind, body, and soul. A short siesta could literally save your life. According to a published study, taking a nap at least three times a week for about half an hour lowers the risk of heart-related illnesses 37 percent. Naps are also great for the American workforce. Reports show that “drowsiness on the job costs American businesses approximately $18 billion a year in lost productivity.”

Keep your nap kit close at home and work. Your kit can include various items: headphones to get the room quiet, a sleeping mask to cover your eyes and experience immediate darkness, and a favorite throw or blanket.
